Silver Halda Patek Philippe Pocket Watch
Made in Sweden circa 1909

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING!

This is a valuable sterling silver Halda open face pocket watch, made in Sweden in the early 1900’s. It is accompanied by a commemorative silver chain containing decorative medals on one side and people’s names on the other. This chain was gifted to its recipient on 23 July 1911.

Despite its age, this pocket watch is still in excellent condition and is an antique gem! It would make it a perfect collectors’ addition.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has golden Louis XVI hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: HALDA.

MOVEMENT: The Patek Philippe of Sweden Halda Z movement is made of very high quality craftmanship. The movement is signed Halda Fickurfabrik. It is currently functioning well, but due to its antique nature, we cannot guarantee precise accuracy.

CASE: The watch lies in a silver open face case with an engine turned finish and a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is hallmarked Swedish silver. The cuvette is signed HALDA FICKURFABRIK.

Halda was founded in 1887 by the manufacturer Henning Hammarlund.
The company Halda made high quality pocket watches in Sweden. The company produced pocket watches until the first world war. They produced approx. 3-6.000 pocket watches. Watches were made in two sizes (men and women) and in different high qualities.
