A most attractive and good quality Silver Plated on Copper Wine Coaster with finely cast 'Grapes' on outer edge. The plating is in very good overall condition with some rubbing,showing the Copper,on the highlights of the Grapes.It is marked "Wm.Drummond & Co, Melbourne' which was a high class Department Store in Melbourne until it's closure in 2002.I date this c. 1960-70 but could be earlier.Dimensions are 16.5cms max,Base interior 9.5cms.
I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
