A Great Silver pocket watch with heavy slip through Albert Chain with Vesta match Box and Silver/Gold Fob
Watch was made by Patten Sargeant Bartlett Waltham Mass best watchmaker
In 1874
Best Quality watch with Jewel Movement working fine and keeping very good time
Solid silver case in excellent age condition made by Adolph Ries Birmingham/London Case maker during this period , Case with inner dust protector cover case hinges all fine no spilts or repairs , just one/two light bruise marks really nothing much for a watch of this age 149 years old
White enamel dial in excellent condition no cracks or chips, slim styled black baton numerals and slim watch hands, nice to have the s mall sweep second hand dial
Back of the case with plain cartouche no initials or monograms
Watch size 53mm diameter
Beautiful heavy Silver Albert chain Attached with all links, t-bar and clasps Silver Hallmarked for c1902,
Attached on the small 2" chain lovely early silver and gold fob c1886 in excellent condition
Attached to the Albert Silver match Vesta Box later in date c1921
Total chain length 14" long , Weight 98 grams
This is a lovely original early pocket watch with fob and Vesta and looks great together
One of the best sets II have seen
Been in the same family for 80 years
Would make a super gift
