A High quality silver pocket watch by Sir John Bennett famous London watchmaker
Clear Hallmarks for Chester 1882
In excellent condition clean movement and working fine ,keeping good time
Lovely silver case with inner dust protection cover , with the name John Bennett engraved on the cover " Maker to the Royal Observatory" also made for Admiralty
Strong case hinge prefect condition , Top winding action , strong top bow, with side pin to press in to set the hands
Perfectly clear white enamel watch dial no chips or cracks
Black numerals , blue steel hands and small sweep 60 second hand dial all in excellent condition, Watch crystal with bezelled edge very clean and clear
Attached Double silver Albert Chain later date c1900 , each link hallmarked stamped, t-bar and fasteners also hallmarked
Attached to the chain Silver Vesta match box holder in fine condition , beautiful engraved pattern, date c1900 also with Chester hallmark very little wear to the Vesta
Great pocket watch set by famous London watchmaker Sir John Bennett , these watches are becoming harder to fine especially in this condition
Watch size 50mm diameter Length of the chains 9" long
