Sixteen Lancashire Spindleback Dining Chairs c1800
Harlequin set of 16 Georgian period Lancashire spindleback dining chairs c.1800. Some very slight differences in design but all in ash with a shaped top rail over two rows of five turned spindles held between and turned stiles. Rush or sea grass seats (some recently renewed) raised on turned front legs with pad feet and joined with a turned stretcher. Good colour and condition.
