Very nice quality S.J. Waring & Sons Ltd ( 1896 ) Queen Anne style pad foot writing table desk with tooled leather top and twin drawers
Beautifully made and of great proportions, this is a very useable size desk for everyday use, but also good as a side piece
The desk can free stand too as it is finished and polished to the rear
Two good size drawers, both running well and with original locks, although I don't have the keys - I may be able to get some keys cut if required.
The dark tooled leather top is perhaps the original, but if not, has certainly been on the desk for a long time, great character and signs of use, but absolutely not necessary to replace it. The makers plate is inside the drawer as shown in the photos
Great desk, lovely condition and a fine maker too

29 3/4'' / 75.5cm high
48'' / 122cm wide
21 1/2'' / 55cm deep
The height from the floor to the underside of the drawers is 23 1/2'' / 60cm high
