Small Antique Pink Upholstered Mahogany Armchair
An attractive upholstered armchair. We date the chair to the very early 20th Century.
The chair sits on two downward tapered square section legs that continue up the front of the armrests at the front and two bowed legs at rear. The chair has a shapely backrest that continues down to the arm rests and is upholstered in a pink velour material finished in a two tone pink braid.
The armchair has an overall height of 38" (96cm), a depth of 26" (66cm), a width of 25" (64cm), a backrest height of 23” (59cm), a seat height of 13" (33cm), a seat width of 19" (49cm) and a seat depth of 20" (51cm).
This attractive armchair remains in a good solid condition with only minor signs of surface marks to the material commensurate with age and usage. There is a bit of play to the frame of the chair.
This remains a very stylish and elegant armchair. It is both comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
