Small Burr Walnut Moonphase Bracket Clock (Netherl
A delightful small scale bracket antique clock, made in the English 18th Century style. It has a burr walnut case with a break arch pad top and brass carrying handle. The corners are mounted by brass pineapples, the sides by brass caryatids and ogee bracket feet. The dial has brass spandrels and a silvered chapter ring and a well painted rotating lunar disc within the arch. It bears a name plaque Rob Wood , London who probably was the original retailer. The 8 day pendulum movement strikies the hours and halves on a bell.
Current Condition
The case is in excellent original condition, as is the dial. The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this antique clock striking and ticking please email us.
