Good Regency rosewood bracket antique clock of small size.
The rosewood case with gadrooned chamfer top, brass inlaid decoration to the front, silk backed fish scale fretted sound panels to the side, glazed back door and hinged brass bezel with convex glass to the front. The painted 6" convex dial with Roman numeral hour markers, blued steel hands, and signed 'Wm Jordan, Rickmansworth'. (The reverse of the dial is marked with the maker's name and a date of 1827).
The single fusee , timepiece movement with anchor escapement runs for 8 days.
This clock with a depth of only 5.5", is of a good small size that will actually sit on a shelf/mantel if required. Unless otherwise stated all barometer prices include local delivery (50 miles).
