A fine quality small single fusee marble and ormolu mounted mantel antique clock by G Yonge, The Strand, London, c.1820
Maker George Yonge & Sons, 313 The Strand, London. Successor to the celebrated maker John Holmes.

A beautiful quality small sized English fusee timepiece mantel clock by the eminent makers Yonge & Sons.
The fine quality white marble case with the original gilded swag and flower mount to the front, beautiful quality bun feet and drum shaped upper case seated upon a gilded scrolled mount.
The 3.5" original gilded dial with Roman chapter ring and finely executed engine turned centre.
The high quality 8 day duration, chain driven, fusee movement signed to the backplate for Yonge & Sons The Strand, London . Superb quality pendulum with restraining nut and London style time regulation.
Vulliamy style heart shaped blued steel hands.
