Small Striking Repeating Alarm Carriage Clock

A late 19th century French gilt brass striking repeating carriage antique clock with alarm.
The re-gilded cannalee case is smaller than average. At 6 inches tall this is sometimes referred to as three-quarter sized. It is in perfect condition, with beveled glasses to all sides, and a large rectangular glass in the top to view the platform.
The signed white enamel Roman dial has Arabic 5-minute numerals outside the minute track, and a subsidiary alarm setting dial below.
The 8-day movement retains the original silvered lever platform escapement, and strikes and repeats the hours on a blued steel gong.
Overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
