Spectacular little late 19th.c. specimen top tripod wine table probably of Anglo-Indian or Colonial origin c.1870. Striking 19½” diameter table top with a wheel of fourteen triangular veneers of various exotic timbers laid in a symmetrical pattern within an ebony surround with bone inlaid points, inlaid stringing and a moulded rosewood edge. Raised on a lovely turned solid rosewood column and shaped tripod legs. Good condition with some general wear. Solid and stable, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
