A Spode bone china London shape coffee cup and saucer in the bold imari and gilt pattern number 967, c.1810. Both pieces marked SPODE 967 in red enamel and the saucer has a further workman's mark.
The saucer measures 14cm (5 1/2") wide and 3m (1 1/8") high. The cup measures 7.3 (2 7/8") across the rims and 7cm (2 3/4") high to the handle.
In good condition: the saucer has a fine glaze line on the underside and the cup has a fleabite and short tight hairline. Minimal surface wear to the enamels or gilding. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
