We are offering for sale this attractive, still life Oil Painting on prepared canvas artists board by an unknown artist. This is one of a pair that we are listing by the same hand, who, unfortunately, hasn't signed the works. The piece depicts a vase of mixed flowers, including roses, a fritillaria imperialis or Crown Lily, jonquils, narcissi blossom etc., standing on a ledge.

We have no further information about the work or the artist other than that the Superior Daler board was first available in 1959, so would date this to 1960s. This painting is on similar board, although the label that was on the reverse is missing, so we don't know who manufactured it.

The painting is framed in a 1 3/4" lightly gilded wooden frame. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.

Medium: Oils on canvas covered artist's board.

Condition: Very good. Surface is clean and there is no craquelure or paint loss. The frame is in very good condition.
