A French brass cased striking & repeating carriage antique clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals, 5 minute outer dial markers. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Push button repeating. Movement backplate numbered 24905 with the original matching numbered key. A lever escapement. Circa 1885. The backplate engraving indicates in may be from the Drocourt workshop,
