Stunning 18thC Carmarthenshire Oak Side Table
A beautiful George III Welsh oak Carmarthenshire Lowboy Side Table of distinctive regional design. - Llandeilo Towy Valley c1780.
Displaying wonderful rich colour and patina throughout. Of the highest quality for the region featuring superb mahogany inlay cross banding to the drawer fronts and beautifully figured oak throughout including drawer liners.
The little carved fan shaped brackets being a particularly pretty traditional feature in pieces from the area and are a wonderful addition, these are also found in dressers, chairs and are clear identifiers of their West Wales origin. In exceptional condition, original throughout and free from fault this is an absolutely stunning example in every respect.
A superb Welsh table suitable for any room in the house.
