A stunning black lacquer ground Chinoiserie cabinet with raised and painted decoration with gold gilding. The top decorated with a typical Chinese scene including a river with trees, mountains, pagodas and a boat The 2 doors having raised and gilded lacquer decoration with weeping willow trees, flowers, pagodas and a large pheasant. The stiles and door frames with chased brass fittings escutcheon plates and pear drop handles. The doors open to a shelved interior and the inside of the doors have beautiful red lacquer with flowering plants and bird in a tree. The sides with further Chinoiserie decoration of birds flowers and trees etc. Dimensions:- Height…33.5’’/ 85cm. Width…38.25’’/ 97cm. Depth…20’’/ 51cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
