Stunning Early Minton Porcelain Dessert Plate 1830

A beautiful early 19th century bone china porcelain dessert plate with unusual irregular shaped rim, quite thickly potted, with a shallow cavetto. The lip is enamelled in a pale buff/grey enamel reserving white circles tracking inside the rim that are cleverly made to resemble pearls with gilt highlighting. The enamel ground is over gilded with a stylised vine, acanthus leaves, scrolls and grapes or floral buds. The shaped central reserve is exquisitely painted with garden flowers in bright enamels. A wide gilt band is loosely painted just inside the rim. Believed to be Minton, c.1830.
It measures 23.5cm (9 3/4") wide and 2cm (3/4") high.
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration. Minor handling wear only, just very slight rubbing at a couple of points to the gilt inside the rim.
The Minton tablewares of the 1820s and 1830s are little documented and the pattern book covering this period isn't available. However, the date ranges have been established from factory documents and this pattern would date to c.1830 which matches the period of this plate. This highly distinctive shaped rim and the way the gilt band is applied inside the rim appears identical to documented Minton cups and saucers of the period and some printed tablewares, along with the heavier style potting and colour of the porcelain. Extensive research shows that this shape is not found at any of the other potters of the time and the pattern number doesn't fit with that of any other manufacturer for this date period.
