Stunning French Mercurial Gilt and Sevres Clock
Stunning French Mercurial Gilt and Sevres panel antique clock by Japy Freres C1850
The beautifully gilt case is made from 29 individual peace’s that have been completely finished by hand with hand chasing and selective polishing. The colour is simply lovely with its original undamaged gold surface. The clock case has been completely dismantled and carefully cleaned and conserved to reveal its original finish.
The very fine Japy Freres movement striking the hour and half hour on a fine bell has been fully overhauled by me personally and comes with a full three years guarantee for your peace of mind.
This clock has to be seen to be appreciated and simply sparkles in the light as you pass it. Superb. With over twenty years experience in restoring and conserving clocks and working on some of the finest and complicated clocks for a select group of the best antique clock dealers in the country.
