A Stunning George I period figured walnut bureau bookcase.c.1720. Well fitted interior with a sliding well and small drawers set back. Inset leather writing surface. Two short over two long drawers to the base. Candle holders above the fall front bureau base. Double cupboard top with raised panels. Adjustable shelves to the interior. Book matched veneers and herringbone cross banding throughout. Standing on the original turned bun feet. Superb colour and patina. Measures 41" x 23" x 81"high.
