Stunning mid 19th century heavy cut glass sweet meat jar. Very elegant urn shape jar with square base and lift off lid. The square base being hand cut on the underside with a star. The hole piece is wonderfully shaped and cut all over.

A minute chip to the inner edge of the lid that you don't see otherwise very good condition.

SIZE 9 1/2" high. 4" diameter at the widest point.
