Standing Upon Tapered Legs with Original Brass Castors.
Having an Arrangement of 5 Mahogany Lined Drawers.
The Superstructure Featuring a Stationary Box to the Centre Flanked By Drawers and Finished with a Brass Gallery.
The Whole of the Piece Featuring Fine Marquetry Detail and Satinwood, Ebony and Boxwood inlays.
Manufactured by "Edwards and Roberts" The firm Edwards and Roberts were among the best English antique furniture cabinet makers of the second half of the eighteenth century. The company was founded in 1845 and by 1854 was trading as ‘Edwards and Roberts’, 21 Wardour Street.
