Each cabinet has a cushion moulded and rectangular shaped top above a marquetry inlaid frieze. The stiles have very good ormolu mounts and conforming marquetry, the glazed doors with further inlay and ormolu escutcheons. The cabinets stand on plinth bases with shaped fronts. These superb cabinets are a true pair, one left handed and one right handed and have working locks and keys and date from 1880. Colour and condition very good with relined interiors.
