This is a beautiful mahogany inlaid brass box with an incredible interior. The lid is lined with light green silk over which tiny jet black beads have been sewn. There is a pull out tray that reveals a lower compartment for storing items. On the floor of the box, which is lined in paper of similar colour to the silk on the lid, is an ink stain in the corner. Otherwise, the box is in impeccable condition and superbly crafted. There is a working lock and key.
