A Stunning William & Mary period carved oak armchair.c.1690.Rush seat and matching back.Spiral twist supports and decorative foliage carvings to the sides.Cherubs carved to the top either side of a crown.Scroll arm supports down to a carved surround to the seat.Carved cross front rail and spiral twist stretchers to the base.Standing on hoof feet.Superb original colour and patina.Measures 23" x 22"deep x 49"high,seat 17"high.
