A Stunning William & Mary period walnut bureau bookcase.c.1690.Fallfront bureau with fitted interior,sliding well and leather writing surface.Two short over two long drawers to the base with the original brass fittings.Bevelled edge mirrors to the top,fitted with two banks of drawers to the interior.Moulded cornice top.Herringbone fruitwood crossbanded throughout.Superb colour and patina to the figured walnut bookmatched veneers.Measures 36" x 22" x 80"high.
