Stylish 1930s Heal’s Oak Bentwood Armchairs
Another one of our Devon discoveries, found alongside a few more pieces of Heal’s. We have two of these rather attractive and ever so stylish 1930s oak lounge chairs, referred to as the S394 model.
Classic quality and style from Heal’s with those long bentwood oak arms and deep sprung seat and thick comfy back. The perfect blend of comfort and character.
The chairs are in very similar order if you wished to purchase the pair otherwise let us know which one you’d prefer. The fabric is a little tired, showing day to day wear, but perfectly usable – the colours are slightly different on the chairs - one mixed blue stripes with the other being mixed green stripes. The frames are strong and the arms are firm with no wobbles or repairs. The spring and flat chain system, used on some Heal’s chairs, is good with a firm seat and back – we have had a cuppa or two in them to test them out! Our upholsterer would be able to upholster in a similar style – with piping at the cost of £300 each plus fabric. Please let us know if you would like us to assist.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.
Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
