Substantial Antique Extending Oak Dining Table
A substantial Victorian wind-out extending dining table in solid golden oak with 4 original leaves from Beeston Hall, Norwich. The bow ended rectangular shaped top having a moulded edge and inset frieze. The table is extended with a crank handle and allows any combination of the 4 leaves to achieve the required seating. The table is supported on 4 substantial turned and fluted tapering legs with carved detail and original brass and brown pottery castors. Dimensions:- Max.Length (fully open with leaves in)…137’’/ 348cm. Minimum Closed Length…71’’/ 180cm. Width…60’’/ 152cm. Height…29’’/ 74cm. Table Leaves…3 X 17.5’’/ 44cm. and 1 X 13.5’’/ 34cm.
