This is a large good quality Victorian gilt frame with its original gilt finish in super order. The frame dates from around 1870 and measures 77 cm by 108 cm externally. The aperture measures 52 by 82.5 cm with a recess at the back of 1 cm all round. (i.e. picture size to fit opening 53cm by 83.5 cm)
