A Very Attractive Regency Period Sewing Table in Rosewood with side leaves that can be fixed open, it has two drawers both with small compartments the bottom one has a silk bag for sewing or wool storage, it stands on a platform base with four shaped legs with finely carved paterie and nice brass cup castors above the platform is a single column superbly carved this holds a semi circle of timber that then supports the top. A fine piece of cabinet making in excellent condition with a pleasing finish to the polish
