A Superb Late 19th Century brass cased oval shaped 'Four Glass' mantel antique clock.c.1890.Gilded dial to the French 8 Day striking movement. Striking on the hour and half to a gong. Complete with the original mercury pendulum. Bowed bevelled edge glasses to the oval polished case. Retailed by Bailey,Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia(w.1832-).Superb condition, fully overhauled. Measures 6.5" x 5.5" x 9"high. Sturmans Antiques is a family run business, established over 35 years ago in the beautiful market town of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales.
