A rare novelty teapot shaped travelling inkwell. Fully working spring loaded push button release to reveal a silver inkwell also with spring loaded release button. Glass inkwell also in good condition with no damage. Made circa 1880. The outside of the teapot has been later inscribed “Sarah Birkett 1904”.
Overall in excellent condition and outstanding quality. Has developed a beautiful patina. Measures 8.5cm long.
This is extremely rare and would be a great addition to any collection.
