A very good late 19th.Century mahogany serpentine and breakfronted cabinet in the Chinese Chippendale manner. The castellated top having open fret galleries and turned finials with gadrooned pagoda style cornice with "C" scrolls and turned hanging flower heads. The large serpentine door with astragal glazing bars and working lock and key. The interior with 3 plate glass shelves and relined in a good quality velvet. The base section having a carved harebell and honeysuckle edge above a figured mahogany frieze and standing on 6 very well carved claw and ball legs with acanthus leaf and "C" scroll carving to the knees. Transports in 2 pieces plus the galleries. Sizes:- Height...89.5''/ 227cm. Width...68''/ 173cm. Depth...18''/ 45.5cm. Interior Shelf Depth...13.25''/ 34cm.
