A Superb George III period mahogany inlaid serpentine fronted knife box.c.1780. Shell fruitwood inlay to the top with herringbone stringing to the edges. Original fitted interior with star inlay to the back. Silvered escutcheon to the front. Superb colour, patina and condition. Measures 8.5" x 12"deep x 14.75"high. Stock no.32142.
