Superb Pair of Antique Gilt Oval Wall Mirrors
A Fine and Elegant Pair of Antique Gilt Oval Wall Mirrors dating from 1840.
Both retaining their original mercury silvered mirror plates, each having a wonderful overall sparkle to the silvering. No major foxing to the plates.
Original gold leaf water/ oil gilding, which has a pleasant pale appearance.
The frames have detailed lattice work main panels which are very well executed.
Original backing boards are intact.
Sizes 73 cm x 58 cm.
