Superb Quality Rosewood Framed Salon Sofa
A superb quality Victorian salon sofa with finely carved rosewood frame of particularly good quality timber and colour.
Width 62” (158cm) Depth 33” (84cm) Height (overall) 35” (89cm) Height (seat) 14” (36cm)
Condition & Details of Restoration:
This sofa is in original structural condition. Should the client wish, it would be possible to raise the height of the sofa by approx. 1 ½” (4cm) by adding castors. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks to the woodwork, as can be seen from the photographs. The original horsehair upholstery has been re-covered, once again by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner.
