Swansea Dillwyn Creamware Ship Pattern Plate c1830


We have for sale a very interesting Dillwyn Swansea Pottery creamware plate dating to the 1830s.
This attractive Swansea plate is decorated with the ship pattern depicting a Royal Navy warship at see over an array of nautical images including a cannon, trident and a barrel. The back carries the impressed Dillwyn mark.
The plate is 9 inches (22.8cm) in diameter and is in a very good antique conditions with the slight crazing and age marks one would expect from a piece of Swansea creamware of this period.
