This is an attractive Syrian Damascus ware mirror frame applied overall with geometric inlay, with its original mirror glass, circa 1900. Various hardwoods and bone have been used for the parquetry inlay and in the centre of each side Arabic calligraphy is inlaid in ebony against a pale wood background. The frame has a chamfered profile thinning towards the outer edge. It is currently set up for portrait hanging, but this can be easily changed to landscape if this is preferred.

Dimensions: 59 x 47 cm (23 1/4 x 18 1/4 in)

Condition: The frame is in excellent condition with all inlay intact. The mirror glass has some oxidation spots but is still very serviceable.

Postage & packing: This mirror can be packaged and sent by courier for £20. Alternatively, a safer method would be to have it hand-delivered by our trusted driver for £45. This price applies to all areas of mainland England and most of Wales.
