Tall and narrow early 20th.c. French marble top chest of drawers c.1900. Just 31″ wide with the original and well figured rose marble top with shaped and moulded edge over seven drawers. Serpentine shaped front and sides with pale kingwood veneers arranged in a contrasting pattern on the cushion drawer fronts and repeated on the sides. Shaped apron and legs. Original crisply cast ormolu mounts, handles and escutcheon plates. Oak drawer linings. Minor wear to the original finish and a couple of small repairs to the veneers. Otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
