We are offering this tall and imposing table lamp and with its equally decorative lampshade by the makers of the lampshades for the Downton Abbey TV series.

The base is a gilt metal campana urn, richly ornamented and with a frieze of classical figures, standing on a reeded cylindrical socle. This is mounted on a black marble circular base, supported on three circular decorated feet.

The shade is in the 'Saltzburg' style in gold and black silk brocade, with black fringe, overlaid with gold and black beaded fringe, gold and black beaded tassels and finished with black and gold braid.

The lamp has been newly rewired in antique gold coloured fabric covered wire, black plug and all new fittings. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
