We are delighted to offer this tall and beautiful Japanese Porcelain Vase and cover, which has been converted into a Table Lamp, and a lovely shade, made by the company who made the shades for the Downton Abbey television series.

The base of the lamp is a converted porcelain Japanese vase and cover, which is handpainted with oriental birds and stylised flowers in tones of terracotta on an ivory ground. The vase is positioned on a wooden oriental base.

The shade is in the 'Vienna' style in terracotta moire silk, with soft gold fringe, two tone matching braid and complemented with long terracotta silky tassels.

The vase has been wired with braided antique gold coloured wire, with all new fittings. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Height to top of shade: 32" - 81.3cm

Diameter of shade: 17" - 43.2cm

Diameter of base: 6 1/2" - 16.5cm

Condition: Very good. The lamp has no damage and the shade is new.
