Tall Wellington Chest of Drawers. Document Cabinet
This is a fine quality tall Mahogany Wellington Chest.
It dates to the late Victorian period, about 1900, and is in excellent original condition.
The stile, on the right hand side has its original working lock and key and is hinged to lock and secure all the drawers.
There are 11 drawers, all mahogany lined and of fine dovetailed construction and all retain their original turned knobs.
The plinth base retains its original concealed castors.
Wellington chests were often used in personal studies and libraries of Victorian homes to store valuable documents, they are extremely versatile chests of drawers which take very little space.
Dimensions: 48 inches high, 22 inches wide, 18 inches deep ALL OF OUR PRICES INCLUDE FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY.
