Terracotta Blackamoor figure in correction chair
An early 20thc polychrome (painted) terracotta finely modelled figure of a seated young boy.
The boy is wearing a coat & shorts & sits in a mahogany correction chair with his feet crossed.
There is an old repair to his left leg & he is also missing his big toe on this foot, this has been missing for some years.
This piece is in the style of Goldscheider, it is a nice example with a very cheeky expression.
