Late 19th.c. painted terracotta figure of a fisherman’s daughter c.1890. Standing 32″ tall and beautifully modelled, holding an oyster shell in one hand and a basket of fish to sell under her other arm, with good detail to the face and costume. Damage to the hand and oyster shell but generally very good condition and retaining the original paintwork.
