Large fabric wall hanging or curtain with a medieval style design after À Mon Seul Désir the final criptic scene in the celebrated 15th century series of Flemish tapestries The Lady & the Unicorn. As in the original the Lady is shown smiling and returning the necklace worn in the other tapestries to a small chest held by her servant, flanked by the lion and unicorn holding crescent standards. The printed design is further embelished with gold metallic stitching and an applied border. Excellent condition, with a fabric lining and presented hung from a black metal pole.
