THONET leather & chrome cantilever chair by A Lorenz

This is a THONET black leather & chrome cantilever chair (Model SS33) by Anton Lorenz
The Model SS33 chair is a Modernist design created by Anton Lorenz in the 1930's. This particular chair was probably manufactured Mid 20th Century.
There is a THONET label on the chrome stretcher underneath the seat, though it is quite rubbed. In addition, the THONET name is printed on the upholstery fabric lining the base of the seat.
This is a very comfortable chair which would work equally well as a desk chair, a dining chair or an occasional chair.
Size: 60 cm wide x 56 cm deep x 77 cm high (all these are max measurements)
Condition: The tubular chrome is in very good condition. The leather is also in good condition with some minor marks & spots and a small amount of wear on the arms and the front edge of the seat consistent with its age. There are no holes or splits in the leather.
Delivery: This chair can be delivered to anywhere on Mainland England and most of Wales by our delivery man for £45.
