Turquoise And Pearl Insect Brooch 14Ct gold
A fabulous Victorian insect brooch made in 14t yellow gold.
The insects body is made up of an oval shape cabochon turquoise stone and complimenting silvery pearl.
The wings are engraved with a detailed texture which adds to the overall quality of the piece.
The main part of the brooch has two crossed bars of gold with finial ball ends.
Comes complete with safety chain.
The brooch is hallmarked on the reverse with gold quality, makers mark and assay although I can't make out the exact year it was made I'd say with some confidence that its probably Victorian.
Condition - This antique item is in excellent condition.
Dimensions - 4cm in length
Weight - 3.5 grams
