In good unrestored condition, we present this fine George III mahogany chest on chest c.1800. Lots of useful storage here, the top chest with two short drawers over three long on a base with three long drawers of graduated depth. Shaped cornice with inlaid detail over a crossbanded frieze with inlaid motif at the centre. Canted and inlaid corners, flame mahogany drawer fronts retaining all the original brass handles (damage to one backplate), oak drawer linings and original bracket feet.
