Charming Art Nouveau inspired walnut bureau,made circa 1920, lovely colour with compact proportions yet making for highly practical desk/ bookcase with a well thought out use of space and design, boasting unusual side book shelves stylishly incorporated either side of the fall front bureau which when open revealing an amply fitted interior and inset apple green leather writing surface, beneath which there are two handy sized drawers and a pair of panelled cupboard doors again with great storage facility, standing on sturdy cabriole supports.
A very nice item which all makes for a practical yet desirable looking piece of antique furniture which could suit either the period or contemporary home.
