A rare find, a pair of wall sconce or shelf mirrors. This pair date from late Victorian or Edwardian times and are generally in good condition. They have had a couple of minor repairs over the years but nothing that is at all serious. The finish is certainly original so there is a little sign of wear but again very minor. The mirrors boast a bevel to the edge and they are in good condition. The shelves have an interesting gallery which is spindled and there are turnings on the bases which are all in place. We felt these might make good bedside antique tables perhaps, if space was at a premium. They are good looking items that can go anywhere in a home, they have clearly been used in the recent past the other way up. If you are just going to have them as mirrors they do look good that way too. They are certainly keenly priced at £235 the pair, less then £120 each, wow. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
